Personal Statement: I moved to Northern Virginia from New York, where I owned my own shop. I performed manicures to prepare models for photo shoots. I was also an instructor at the Nail Academy. After moving to Northern Virginia I trained and received multiple awards for my craft. As a dedicated working mother I also share my talents as well as faith in activities at my church. I participated in a mission with my church group to share my expertise in Nicaragua, Honduras and Thailand. Blessing women and young girls with manicures, a luxury they had never known, brightened both their outlook and mine. I believe in lifting others up and helping in whatever way possible.
